Surrattsville School Principal Katrina Lamont

Surrattsville School Principal Katrina Lamont has been replaced in the wake of allegations by a parent of the student she beat up. The account given of this particular matter, are that, Lamont hit a student like a stray dog using “a Walkie Talkie Radio” while breaking up a student fight within the school last Friday November 30th, 2018. Reports reaching Reform Sasscer alleges that, she had promoted a negative culture for students and staff in the Southern community for Prince George’s County. However, others have said, “she is known to be an independent leader.”
Lamont was replaced by Surrattsville High School Assistant Principal Mr. Wayne Lassiter in the interim under the direction of Interim CEO Monica Goldson, and many in the community are questioning what prompted the change. There are reports Monica Goldson is quietly lining up her friends as part of a strategy to get a longer term by covering problems all the way to the top. Her strategy includes censoring Board members who speak out on issues and blocking news articles critical of her from within PGCPS network in this blog, which is a violation of the US Constitution.
Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) system is currently experiencing out of control fights never seen before. Many teachers and staff are afraid to engage students for fear of retaliation.
The school district was unable to elaborate on any specific instances or cases that led to the decision to replace Principal Katrina Lamont as the details include information on school personnel. One of the videos forwarded to this blog shows Lamont striking one of the students with a “Walkie Talkie Radio” telling the student “put it out“.
